About Us:
We are a registered nonprofit that focuses on raising awareness for vitamin and nutrient deficiencies in young women! Our focus is to shed light on this often-overlooked issue, aiming to educate, advocate, and support. By combining art with community outreach, we strive to empower women with the knowledge and tools they need to nourish their bodies, minds, and futures.

Why We Exist
Vitamin deficiencies in young women are a pressing global issue affecting approximately 2 billion people, particularly those of reproductive age. Up to 30% of women worldwide suffer from anemia due to iron deficiency. At the same time, inadequate intake of vitamins like folic acid, vitamin D, and calcium can lead to reproductive health problems and increase the risk of other health issues.
The root cause for this issue is the stigma surrounding menstrual health that significantly perpetuates vitamin deficiencies due to a lack of awareness, education, and access to proper nutrition and healthcare. Menstruation is shrouded in secrecy in many cultures, limiting discussions about nutritional needs like vitamin D, iron, and calcium, essential for managing menstrual health. In underprivileged areas, economic constraints and inadequate healthcare exacerbate these deficiencies, while in privileged societies, societal taboos prevent women from seeking necessary information and support. This leads to serious health issues, including complications in maternal and neonatal health, postpartum depression, and worsened body dysmorphia due to physical changes caused by poor nutrition.
Addressing these issues requires public health strategies that include menstrual health education, improved access to nutritious food and supplements, and breaking down menstrual stigma, ensuring women receive the nutrients they need for their health and well-being. Our nonprofit aims to raise awareness about these issues, advocating for policies promoting nutritional equity and empowering young women to prioritize their health through proper nutrition.
